Upper Lakes Property Management is a luxury home and cottage maintenance provider in the Muskoka and Kawartha regions. We are looking to hire an experienced Handyperson with a proven track record of high-quality work and satisfied customers. Must be familiar with the Muskoka and Kawartha region, be willing to travel to cottages within these rural areas and possess a strong knowledge of cottage maintenance service requirements. HVAC experience and asset. Must be familiar with various groundskeeping and carpentry equipment and must be physically able to operate required equipment.

A valid Ontario Driver’s license and vehicle is required.

Upper Lakes Property Management is a luxury cottage and home maintenance company operating in the Muskoka lakes area. We are looking for an experienced lawn maintenance worker to join our enthusiastic team of hard-working professionals. Duties include lawn cutting, garden upkeep and groundskeeping work for single and multi resident community clients.

This is a seasonal position for Spring and Summer 2021 with possible consideration for Winter 2021 work opportunities.

The applicant must be punctual, detail oriented and physically fit, be a self starter and have a true enjoyment of working outdoors in the summer and winter months. Working well with a team and a respectful manner with co-workers and clients is essential.

A strong understanding of lawn power mowers and maintenance equipment is required.

Main Duties

  • Operate and maintain grass cutters and power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters and other lawn maintenance equipment.
  • Knowledge of lawn and roadside grass cutting techniques.
  • Able to perform raking, leaf blowing and operate a tractor with vacuum and mulcher fittings. Weeding, pruning as well as other maintenance tasks may be required as directed by supervisor.
  • Topsoil, sod and mulch delivery and application.
  • Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.
  • Responsibly tend to the grass and grounds around commercial, community and residential properties.
  • Be mindful of residents, kids, and pets on premises.
